At the present time, Friday night meet and greet other than having a few beers and getting to meet folks as they arrive at the Sword....146 Hastings Street N, Bancroft

i will have some victory banners and such in the rear parking lot on Friday....could possibly have burger/sausage stand there for folks....depends on when everybody is going to show and how many????

Be great-full if you could update posting on VOG......maybe those comming could send quick email so i have a better feel for numbers..

See you in Bancroft, I've changedour route plan and will be heading out to North Bay then down Highway 11. I'm gettingbored with the 400 so I'm looking foreward to a change in scenery.

I did this run before from up north,
HWY 11 to HWY169 at (Washago) down to HWY 45 (Monck Rd.) East to Kinmount, Take HWY 503 to Troory Hill, take HWY 118 comes to HWY 28 Paudash just west of Bancroft. It was not too bad when I did it

And the weather looks like?? Aw crap. Must be a weekend.
I'll be heading to Bancroft from Ottawa after work on Friday - probably leaving downtown around 4. Anyone else from around here wanting to ride with me? Let me know!

Thanks bud, looks like a nice run but I was thinking we'd take a more direct route starting further north just above Huntsville coming off 11 to 60 then following 35 to the 118 to Paudash. If time and weather become an issue I may venture on down 11 to just south of Bracebridge and take the 118 acrosss to Paudash. So many roads, so little time.
We'll be bringing rain gear, looks like we'll get soggy at some point during the weekend.

Must be Brian's fault,
I have been watching the weather all along for the weekend trip, worst day was Sunday with a chance of rain, now they are calling for rain for both days, this will not deter me from going anyway, even if I have to sit in the parking lot by myself for the hole weekend. The beer store is only a five minute walk from hotel (Motel)
Regards

Home by 15:30, soggy, but safe. Thanks Bear for a great time and to Wayne's World for supplying the prizes. Food, company and roads were great, but I'm still kicking my Arse for buying Blue, I should know better. LOL
Haven't heard from the Paparazzi yet.

hi, it's MEEEEE
Got home 3:30 pm, Roads were mostly wet, one spot we had a moderate rain fall for 30 min. or so. Great scenery on the way home, north of TO the roads were dry, QEW was backed up at Bronte rd. all the way to 403 exit going up the Red Hill that's where I ran into ran and fog.
Many Thanks to the Crew up in Brancroft, Laurie and Bear you did a fantastic job with Saturday's evening meal, what a way to top off the day.. The trip through Algonquin waswell worth theRide to Acton Bancroft.
Thanks also to Wayne & Heather of Wayne's WorldPolaris for thedoor prizes.

GonZo here - made it home safe and sound around 1:30pm. Weather sucked pretty much the whole way. A few times it just pissed down, but for the most part it was sprinkles and spray from slow 4 wheelers!!

Was great meating all of you guys. Thanks again to Bear for putting things on, and Bears wife for the great food. Still kicking myself for eating so much at lunch!

Nice to make some new Vic friends - truly alot of gorgeous bikes out this weekend.

Looking forward to hooking up with people you's guys again!

Hey!
Got back around 1 - rain off & on until about an hour from Ottawa. Not a problem. Yup, it was a great time! Thanks to everyone for being there, and especially to Barry and Laurie for putting on the meet. Next year, who knows? I predict more Vicsters!
I'll post a couple of pictures once I've figured out how to do it!
