So while on the freeway in 90 degrees tire goes down and steering is heavy. I had the Stop and GO Tire Plug kit with me that I got from WD! One of the sipes towards the center caught something.

Low load on the bike. Cant believe the performance. I ran around for 7 miles in 90 degrees @ 50 mph FLAT NO PROBLEM! :22yikes: I have read some wrecking XC with rear flats.

Glad you were able to keep the bike under control. How many miles were on that tire ?

5k. went on this spring and will get the shop patch plug. I really didnt have to do anything. The stability was all still there. Just heavy steering.

That was the case when the Goldwing in our group ripped a hole in the rubber valve stem it was flat fast. He said it was just hard to steer. That was a fun time thankfully the middle of nowhere had an auto parts store for metal stem.

These newer tires with the stiffer sidewalls seam to stay on bead of the rim a lot better than the older tires
I remember from my dirt bike days as soon as the bead broke it wanted to launch me.
