I should know this, we should all know this but since I'm not sure, I'll ask so we all will know.

Using a tire depth gauge tool, is the measurement taken off the bottom of the groove next to the wear bar or on the wear bar?

    Bottom of the groove.
When the tire reaches the wear bar then it is time to change.

Thx Paul. With 2mm and 1mm on front and rear tires to the wear bars, I guess there’s still some mileage left on them. Oh well. Tires ordered and I’ll have good tires for the next couple of years with nowhere to ride to. Thanks China for screwing the whole world. Bat eating low life.

What do you mean you have nowhere to ride... I didn't realize Canad was so tiny! Lol!
That particular flu virus was being experimented on in a Lab in an effort to make it spread to other species... so not anything to do with bat eating.

You may be right. Of all the bats I’ve eaten over the years, none have made me sick as yet. But I specifically avoided the Chinese ones.

Avon Cobra Chrome tires. I wondered what the addition of the word Chrome was all about. The tech told me it was improved rubber formulation. Avon tires are excellent in all conditions, especially in the rain.

I guess I ride too much, the age of the tire has never been an issue. Of course, maybe someday I'll have 3-4 bikes and age will be the factor!

Prisoners in Ontario were released to help stop the spread.
This is quoted from a newspaper:
"More than 2,300 inmates have been released from Ontario jails as the province looks to prevent the spread of COVID-19 inside correctional facilities."

It must take more than 3 bikes. I never get much more than a year out of a set on my bikes. I have a new set in the garage for all three of them. Got to get finished with my M109 and get it off the lift so I can put new tires on the other two. Actually, I’ll probably put the new set on the Concours first. I don’t need the lift with it. Center stand and a set of jack stands under the front forks is all that is needed for it. Magnum will have to wait until I get the 9 off the lift tho.

between the wear bars. But remember what it actually came with, and what is legal - this state 2 . The Elite 4 front only starts with 4.
