Thinking of the Thunder Monster Baffles for my '09 Jackpot ... I have the stage one pipes, and looking for some more head turning power... I've read some of the posts and I'm almost convinced to do it... What else needs to be done to the bike after install...??? Any Info would be greatly appreciated...

This being my first Victory, trust me, as we all know we dont need anymore head turning power...Thanks

I finally put mine in last weekend... Louder, more power... I have Stage 1 Swept pipes... A pop here and a pop there on deceleration... My HD buddy wants to completely take his baffles out of his Screamin' Eagles since he heard my '08 Jackpot in its new form...

UPDATE... The Thunder Monster baffles make a HUGE difference in sound and performance... I was surprised at how big the stock baffles were when I pulled them out... They robbed a ton of power... The typical backfire or popping out the exhaust didn't change at all but I will say the the sound is AWESOME... Cruising in 4th gear with the throttle cracked, you can still hear yourself think... When you roll on the throttle ...WOW what a gain in HP... So if there's any question and your looking for a cheap way to make your bike perform better and sound great this is the way to go... But that just my opinion...

Big City Thunder charges$80 for those baffles, right? Have you seen them? If you know someone with a welder you couldmake a set for around12 bucks.
Nope, don't know anyone like that. lol
I just put mine in today. LOUD!!!!!
I switched them around so the nut is toward the back. I will have to see how it sounds at 4 in the morning on the way to work. My neighbors are going to be pissed.
I ordered the model 2001 like everyone said to. With the 2" inside diameter and the 2 1/8 outside diameter. When i took the old baffles out they were 2 1/8; which would be the 2000 model. However, I think the 2000 model won't fit in the swept pipes because of the curve. I do know I love the new sound, so deep and rumbly!

Like they said, KevinX or Lloydz is the answer if you want neck snapp'in, retena flattening power. Get yer cams changed and get dyno tuned, you will notice a huge difference.

I put the thunder monster baffles in and right from the turn of the key i knew it was louder... I rode with a guy that has a heritage with the V&H shotgun pipes... he thought his bike was loud... That was untill he heard my bike... For the 80 bucks its worth it ... Bike is way louder pretty sure mid range power is better and I love the sound... Nothing like loud... Love setting car alarms off...
