Hi all. One of my first posts and hoping someone I can confirm something on my '06 Vegas. Installing torque tubes, PCV and replacing the throttle body adapter.
Is the throttle body attached to the adapter with the 4 socket head bolts only? I have all 4 out and cannot get the body to break loose from the old adapter. I'm really prying and am a bit worried about breaking something. If it is, any suggestions? TIA

The above video uses a 2008 bike as the example. It only looks like there are 4 bolts holding the throttle body and intake manifold together. For a 2006 bike I’m pretty sure that there are 6 bolts as shown in the parts diagram above. 4 larger ones, #39 in the diagram, and 2 smaller ones, marked #40.
The two smaller ones are close to the middle of the rubber intake manifold.
    I hope this helps.
