I was on the Vicbaggers site and noticed they have Big Gonzo mufflers with exchange. Anyone have these ? Do they perform ? Sound good ? I’m sure Dave builds close to the same thing. Just wondering what these compare to.

I didn't think The Gonzo Garage was still around. Regardless, @crosscountryla will most certainly make whatever you desire regarding sound and performance. He's very knowledgeable regarding Victory slip on mufflers. Dave has tried every conceivable concept and has personally tested them on his own bike.

Thank you. This I know. Dave and I have been in a few conversations and yes he’s a guy I would love to do business with. I was just wondering is all about the Gonzo’s. Seems we haven’t heard much about them in a few years.

I would like information on your adjustable mufflers. I am currently looking for a set of performance mufflers.

@Bikesofbrads you can say that again, but, quoting him, like @2xer did, will do the same thing.

@crosscountryla, it’s been a couple of weeks since I was able to get out on the mighty CCT. This morning when I fired the bike up in the garage, the symphony coming out the business end of your Rajing Cajun Medium Low & Throaty mufflers gave me goosebumps.

Thank you sir! This set has about 40K miles of wonderful music on them at this point.

I have some advise if anyone has Ness Big Honkers. If you think they are too loud or crack at wide open throttle well they do. My buddy constantly reminds me of it when he’s behind me. I decided to try a set of lollipop baffles I made by welding a pair of 11/4” SS washers to 5/16 eye bolts. Double nut and lock washer made them snug and adjustable Incase I want to turn them. I placed them 5” away from the end of the muffler as per the recommendation of a trusted source. Actually he recommended 4” but that would have put me at the heat shield clamp so 5” it was.
The design of the muffler is basically a hollow cannon with a short 8 to 10” ( hard to tell exactly) spiral core baffle right after the cat. The rest of the 20” is Hollow cannon. This why they are loud and seem to crack under high rpm.
So the end result is good. The lollipop baffles took away that crack at high rpm. The mufflers have a nicer actually deeper rumble to them and the best part is increased torque that you can actually feel at the throttle ! The tire breaks loose much more easily when you launch and shift. Crazy I know but I would say the torque increase is that significant making this $6.00 investment worth every penny. I have done enough research on this to make you blind from reading and would say this is a great and inexpensive modification to a partial baffle loud muffler. Less than $6 and I’m pretty darn satisfied at this point. I couldn’t get enough riding it yesterday.

Just picked up my 2016 CCT from HOFFER PERFORMANCE. He installed 501 cams, Techno Research ECU programing etc and then dyno'd. I bought a set of Dave's RAGIN CAJUN DDT"s, with his new adjustable sound/loudness he added. (I had his DDT's on my other CC 8-Ball and loved them) On the dyno Duane played with the adj, he found the adj worked great, OH and he'd never heard DDT's and said sounded GREAT. He noticed and difference in sound/loudness, which he said he liked, but really didn't see much difference in RPM gain and TQ and didn't think I'd feel...so he adjusted for best overall HP/TQ... and let me be the judge on sound/loudness. Well...I said PERFECT...sounded just a little lower and deeper then my other ones and I'm again singing PRAISE for the RAGIN CAJUN DDT's...THANK YOU DAVE:dance:

FE29D2D1-F4D2-4E11-8558-1C0B6FD5CACE.jpeg Adjustable Ragin Cajuns...? I have a 2010 Vision (Arlen Ness model) that looks better than it sounds. Sure would be interested in trying some new mufflers. Not many choices out there these days. I’ve got the timing wheel , PCV, Lloyds top filter. Just need a deeper, throaty sound so that the character matches the look.... View attachment 57446
