There is one reason some might agree with and some not but my mom agreed to experimental drugs years ago. She had brain cancer and each time they removed as much as they could without brain damage but it continued to spread. Several times we were told to rush to th hospital to say our last goodbyes but she fooled them and kept fighting. So they tried to experimental stuff that got a few more weeks then but has since been refined and gives people months and even years today. But that's the only reason I can think to do so. Maybe some think they have no other options today so will go for it. Not me. I'll wait until they all die and they prefect the thing.
