Agreed. Donald Trump is a brilliant self promoter. He has a built in, heat seeking guidance system for media stuff. The best part is - he makes you laugh!! I love the guy just for the entertainment value. LOL!!!
If he announces now, he cannot continue to appear on The Apprentice. However, I'm wondering if he will use the season finale to announce his decision. If he does, then he'll get very strong ratings...even if he says he's not going to run. Ratings = Money...Follow The Money!

Andy is the "Sage" here - the 5th Level Master Business Ninja!! All very good!!! I hope "The Donald" announces just for the soundbites we'll get. He's a true loose canon. Dangerous for everyone - a large blast zone - Stand Back 300'. LOL!!

Lets roll with this for a sec... America is getting tired of politics as usual. Obama was elected because he offered change and we got the status quo. So I wouldn't rule trump out and honestly from the choices I have seen he would probably get my vote. So my question would be, who would he choose as a running mate?

My only hope is that it would NOT be Omarosa! Hmmm? Barring FCC Election Rules, could they do a Special Apprentice to select the VP?

If "the Donald" does get the GOP Nomination, the serious questio is: Does he stay in the business world for his VP? Or, does he tap into the political & grab a known entity? Someone that is respected & would give his ticket credibility. How about Sen. Orrin Hatch? Good credentials, respected, experience. Just food for thought. I think he grabs onto a respected political figure - someone that can help him navigate the political minefields of Capitol Hill - treacherous!!!

Well whoever it is he cant make the same mistake Perot made. It would be helpful to have someone that was good with foriegn policy. I would stay away from the business world for a VP. I always liked Ron Paul but that would be to many finance guys. How about Jeb Bush? To soon I guess for another Bush but he would have done a better job then his brother. I would stay away from Hatch. His age just breathes old time politics as usual and being a ranking memeber of the Senate Finance Committee at this time doesnt look to good on a resume. Can Arnold run for VP? I know he cant be President but that would hand Trump the election... Remember the movie "The Distinguised Gentleman" scary but true most American vote for the name they know not who will do the better job.

Don - actually my FIRST choice (who I absolutely adore) is Condoleeza Rice. She has been approached numerous times to be a VP candidate - then run for the Presidency herself. Her answer is always the same: Not interested. She is real happy back @ Stanford. Teaching, being normal. Still ...... I would love to see her run. What a smart & tough lady!! Brilliant.

Agree, and she has a household name... That would make a tough team to beat even as a third party...

From this site; http://www.mademan.com/mm/how-many-times-has-donald-trump-filed-bankruptcy.html For legendary tycoons, Donald Trump tops the list, but how many times has Donald Trump filed for bankruptcy? The 90's recession wasn't picky about who it affected. Donald Trump felt the pinch as well. His decision to use high interest bonds to finance the assembly of the Taj Mahal casino caused life to get very stressful for the tycoon. In 1991, unable to pay a $3.5 billion loan, he declared business bankruptcy. He also came close to filing personal ruin. At the time, his personal debt was estimated to be around $900 million. Due to the bankruptcy, banks and bondholders lost millions. They came to a compromise with Donald Trump. The banks gave him lower interest rates and a longer time frame to repay the debt and Donald Trump gave the investors half the ownership of the Taj Mahal. In mere months the casino was back in business. Not even a year later, Trump Plaza Hotel folded and Donald had to declare bankruptcy. Again, he worked out a deal where he'd give up 49 percent of the hotel to Citibank and the other lenders and he'd get more time to pay the loan back. It took him two years to repay most of his debt with many sacrifices. He had to give up the Trump Shuttle. The bankruptcy saga didn't stop there. In 2004, Donald filed for bankruptcy protection and restructured his debt. He reduced his ownership of Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts to 27 percent and gave bondholders stocks to help lower his debt and then stepped down as CEO. In 2005, things settled down and Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts came out of bankruptcy with a new name, Trump Entertainment Resort Holdings. Unfortunately the reemergence didn't last long. On February 17th 2009, Donald Trump filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy with a debt ratio of $50 million in assets to his $500 million in debt. This filing made the third bankruptcy for Trump Enterprises.

That story sounds exacty like my life. Except, my assets were $500.00 and my debt was $50,000. I pledaed with the lender for lower rates & more time. They gave me a cool looking magnet for my refrigerator & showed me the door. I never owned a Taj Mahal - but I would like to. LOL!!

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but Biggie and I are "on the same page" when it comes to Donald Trump. Here is a man that is absolutely horrendous at managing money and businesses. He is the extreme showman and mouthpiece, but his poor financial sense is rivaled only by MC Hammer. The man has used the fear of total collapse of his debt load as leverage to hang on to what he has in almost every business step he has ever taken...How this man gets banks and investors to loan him money is beyond me. There is absolutely no fiscal responsibility in this man at all. How could any self respecting fiscal conservative support him?

I agree Trump has had his issues but who in Washington has the guts to change anything right now that is electable? He will make Washington into a circus which I would love to see. If we are going to have people screwing us and running this country into the ground we might as well be entertained in the process. Also, even a poor business man is better then a life long poititian.

Obama and Palin to Trump and his spoiled kids. Could we have Paris Hilton on the cabinet? Give me the former CEO of Caterpillar, Jim Owens, or Ford's CEO Alan Mulally. They both know a thing or 2 about: -US manufacturing -Global economics -Dealing with Unions/pensions -economies of scale -Logistics Imagine if these 2 men could take a knife to the Federal spending budget. These guys make Trump look like the Manhattan p-$$y that he is.

Hmm... Paris Hilton? Probably do well in foriegn affairs, hard to go to war when your... Well use your imagination... Neither of your guys would be dumb enough to accept the job... But good choices, I would back them.

Sarah Palin, or Michelle Bachman ..... But because your "junk" gets all warm and fuzzy looking at these two fairly attractive women, you think they would be a good President?
Now - is that really "Civil?" Really? Isn't that really beneath you & quite crass - crude? I would hope you are better than that - perhaps - perhaps not.
