Oh you mean the same virus you can pick-up at the local grocery store? The only numbers that matter are hospitalizations and mortality rate... The rest is altered, dilluted and meaningless at this point of political (Dems) and financial (Hospitals) factors skewing the data....

The bug will stay here until Herd Immunity is meant via vaccine or natures way...

Just try to keep healthy Fly. Symptoms are anywhere between nothing to death.

That covers about any illness I've ever heard of. With the possible exception of ingrown toenail. And that could be lethal. Just step on someone else's and see if they try to kill you.

I know you have read my postings about the most likely origin based on historical funding and research on this very Bat virus. Thanks for the concern and I mean that and you as well...

Pretty sure none of us want it, but it is here to stay until we establish immunity or it mutates into a less lethal strain. I have the flu tag me pretty hard and I have had it as just be an overnight thing. People die from seasonal flu daily as well. At about half the rate of this one.

I have been a semi germaphobe for years transporting the worse of the worse and try to watch what I touch and wash my hands often, prior to this bug. I have been exposed to worse and one must take care, but...

I wouldn't wish this Virus on anyone. A previously healthy friend just passed away yesterday afternoon from it after 6 very rough weeks in ICU. Respiratory and Kidney failure. It's not worth the risk.

lotsa ppl on here blabber on speculating on the many things we don’t totally comprehend about this virus ... few have had a sobering first hand experience with it and don’t see the need to be cautious.

Exactly, but if there were anyone who deserved it , it would be those in denial about it.

I hear a bit of elitism in your posts. Feels good to be better than everybody else, doesn't it?

Well unfortunately he was one of them but he did Not deserve it.
The hospital called his family in twice to say goodbye during the 6 weeks only to have him improve slightly after. I cant even imagine what they went through.
Like I said, would not wish this on anyone. No one Deserves this.

No, he or anyone else does not deserve it. I will stand corrected on that and offer my condolences on the loss of your friend. It can happen to anyone of us.

Elitist blue collar oil worker? Don't see it but thanks for the observation. Perhaps you've just chosen the wrong word. Have a great day and stay safe.

Sorry to hear you lost a good friend to COVID. I'm curious, how old was your friend and any ideas on where he contracted it?

Cruising everywhere and anytime I can.
The Numbers show approx 460,000 came. Media has said 260 cases of Covid-19 are being tracked back to Sturgis. lets see 260 out 460,000 Bikers and no proof that is where it has come from since the rally has been done for 1 1/2 weeks, well you do the math, <.01%.
