took the bike out yesterday and was giving some trouble shifting ....then after it heated up ....would not go into 4th (from 3rd)....then came to a light and was able to shift down to 1st .....now will not shift out of 1st ...stuck there ..the bushing have already been replaced ,,,,when I push down on gearshift ..makes this clicking sound ..the clutch cable has been adjusted correctly ....Bike is a 2013 XCT with 10k miles ...no mods

Did you just recently do the bushings? Check that work 1st.

Are you sure the shifter is returning to the neutral position, it isn't too tight? The bike must be moving to shift into second gear from 1st or neutral . the neutral select feature won't let you get to second while stopped.

Don't know what you have already tried; be sure the linkage is not loose and or bent.
