I have a 2016 Vision and fell like a "Johnny come lately", or just finding out about performance upgrade. So, I have no clue on where to start concerning parts, and what to order. I know what I want more horsepower and torque without a turbocharge. Maybe a step down from a turbocharge lol, I currently have installed 1) EJK Jet Kit 2) Lloyd'z Adjustable Timing Gear 3) Freedom dual racing pipes 4) Darkside rear tire. I called Lloyd'Z but not answer and I can not get the show on the road without some sound advice. All input will be appreciated.

Is the "EJK Jet Kit" a fuel controller? If so, you might want to get in touch with a local dyno shop and see of they can tune the fuel map in it for you.

Had you not purchased that, my suggestion would be to get a Maximus and get it tuned by @NOEMTZ who's on this forum a lot.

I would keep trying to get a hold of someone at Lloydz & plan a trip to Pine Bush. They should be a one stop shop for upgrades. LLOYD'Z Motor Workz

Lloyds air filters, PCV, 1/4 turn throttle ring and Lloyds cams wake the Vision up nicely. You already have the adjustable timing wheel. That's all the low hanging fruit. The next stage is a 116" or a 117" big bore kit.

The Lloyd's NY facility rarely does performance work these days. Their dyno shop and Technicians moved from NY to Lloyds Indian dealership just outside Charlotte, NC a couple years ago. Though I do think the NY facility does do performance work by appointment once or twice a year.

177" bb kit? I want one of those! 116" and 117" would be nice, too...

    Yup. You need:

    Lloydz Top filter
PCV & Timing wheel OR Maximus (no timing wheel required)
    Lloydz VM-1 cams (501)
    1/4 turn throttle ring
A good dyno tune (or remote tune if going the Maximus route)

Thanks for all the insight. Lloyd'z will not be working in the New York location until further notice. I have been calling around and seem to say the same things. The down sided for me is I might have to take off my "Freedom dual Racers" muffler and replace them with performance mufflers. So now I need to know what performance mufflers look like on my bike. My Freedom cost pretty penny and installation were not cheap and they have less than two years old. But it seems to get the "numbers" they must go. How much "numbers" am I missing with keeping my pipes own, lol, lol. I do understand that my pipes are not "performance muffler" and of course that is the name of the game "performance".

The tune is more important than the numbers.

Keep the true duels if you like them.

    ^^^^^^ what he said.

I originally thought I needed the HPT cams in my Vision because the “peak” HP numbers were higher than the other cams. Come to find out, it was extra work and clearancing needed to fit them. AND I would only realize that peak hp difference at WOT and high RPMs (Eg above 5k).

so I went with the standard vm1 cams and they work very well in my normal riding rpms and conditions. If I ever want to grab a handful of throttle, they do not disappoint. They have plenty of giddy up.

you should also consider with the extra Top Filter that Visions have, you are going to get better numbers than any other Vic with the same mods because you will have much more air flow.

personally I’d pick a nice exhaust that I like (and can live with) the sound of over eeking out every last drop of HP/TQ. In the end, it’s really going to be minimal and you may not even notice that much of a difference between the two (especially during normal riding).

There is a place in North Jersey that works on Vics. Rolling Fast maybe?? They don't do dyno work. They would send it to Pine Bush for dyno work. @NOEMTZ and the Maximus comes in handy there.

Lloyd’s has recommended other shops in the area I’m sure to work on your Vic. Did they not offer that info ?
If not then call Noemntz and he will help.

I think a better question is what numbers do you want?

Go look at the dyno thread and find one you like. I have a feeling this forums has covered just about all the combinations of cams/pipes/cu.in

    Just pick a recipe.

Thanks for that suggestion, as I have no clue to "numbers". +/-. Everyone thanks again. But I must go and chase numbers lol. The sign on the door read "Out Chasing Numbers - Will Return Between Later and Much Later" LOL, LOL
