Maybe this is old news but it's the first time I've seen the updated label with a motorcycle on it. Lets not turn this into a this -vs-that oil thread! Again, I just thought it was interesting Shell updated the label to include MC's!

Hahaha... Fat fingered that one didn't I!

I've used it in all 6 of my machines for the last 11 years and they never gave me a single days trouble. Operated perfectly. I just thought it was kind of cook seeing them add the bike on there.

My thought is use what you like. If it works for you then it probably isn't wrong.

I just watched, earlier right before I read this post by minutes, a new bikes and beards episode on YouTube and he bought a government kn Diesel motorcycle. That's why the post struck me. Only 214 built for Afghanistan. They have fuel problems so not running yet. Maybe it's the oil, 😁

I posted about it back when they introduced the 15w version last couple years they added a motorcycle.
The 5w traditional Rotella is still same as far as I know.

I've used both in my bikes.

2 kawasaki nomads and a victory kingpin.
88,000 on my first nomad, 70,000 on my second nomad, 40,000 on my current kingpin.
Rotella T6 in everyone of them. NO issues with transmissions or motors. I think I will continue to use it.

It's good stuff. Oil analysis says I can go 10k between changes if desired.
