Rented one for a day in Oahu, HI. Bat Mobile color scheme R 5 speed version. First ever actual drive/ride and while it gets looks, its not something I'd ever buy. Rides like a "no suspension go cart", underwhelming power, less storage space than my Vision but still managed to have a great time. I told friends it's like a roller coaster. Your excited, its exciting and fun at first, its rattles and shakes you to death and at the end your kinda glad it's over.

    Yup that's the one!
Yeah it certainly had something to to with the roads, but a few hundred miles on that thing was enough for me. 600-700 on the Vision is more comfortable

Not the easiest things to get in & out of either, storage is minimal at best.

Is it just me are does anybody else think the only thing funnier than seeing a slingshot running around with a guy wearing a full face helmet is two in it wearing helmets? I've passed many of them and they always make me a bit nervous as they're often all over both sides of the road.

I haven't seen a person in one with a helmet yet. I see a good amount too. During good weather I'll see one almost every day if not a few. More of them than I see Vics. :(

Missouri had a helmet law until it was just recently repealed. Many still choose to wear one though.

I figured. Texas does not. I wouldn't wear a helmet in a SS but always do on my bikes.

Sounds like you had a scary experience! But I am glad you have attempted your ride and it was a nice looking GoKart you have!
