    Dear Moderators:

You have to do a better job with the spam. How is it Andy is gone like a month barely and it seems like every day new spam? I'm getting less interested in spending time here. Why can't you just delete the threads?

    New name: Victory Spam Group.

Because if they don't keep the spam in check, it will take over the forum.

They don't consider it "spam". I believe they are "supporting advertisers" here now. You will have to get used to it. The company that bought the site is a "for profit" business.

No, What he's talkng about is the phony accounts that are being created and then posting in the forums. I've seen several already selling costumes and crap. They look like normal messages from normal users. I think a "supporting advertiser" would be identified as such. This is spam, plain and simple.

We are working on some custom tools to make getting rid of the spam easier (and preventing it in the first place) -- and we are also working on changing the forum so that anytime you report a post an actual email is sent to the entire team here so we can nuke it right away. So make sure if you see something, report it!

Good response. There has always been spam on the site. Andy was pretty quick about pulling them down. Just need to have a system that works for the new guys so they can do the same thing.
