I am planning to change stock seat to SOLO seat for my judge 2013. And, I was searching anything available in the internet, but no luck. Need your expertise to find a good touring seat? Please let me know.

I have a 2013 Judge, with the one piece seat and recently put a luggage rack on it. After doing so I noticed that every time i need to take my tank off will also mean having to take the luggage rack off again to get to the bolts on the rear of the seat. I thought about trying to get a 2014 Judge seat which is two pieces. There is one on e bay now for $250.00. Thinking was I could just leave the back seat off and go Solo, but after checking that out found that the Oval side panels from the 2013 will not fit with the 2014 seat. New 2014 panels which are triangle shaped are about $307.00 each plus shipping. So I would have to spend approximately $900.00 just to save maybe 20 minutes of extra work when I take my tank off. Not a good deal for me. I also looked at the spring solo seat made in Germany. Solo Rider Spring Seat with Base Plate Craftride SG11 black | eBay I like its looks but would be faced with he same problem on the side panels likely. I did notice that one guy on this site did use the 2014 seat on his 2013 and was able to make it work by cutting up his 2013 side panels, but I do not like the look on this solution. Not many options on custom or solo seats for the 2013 Judge it seems.

Hey, i did a 2014 seat with the 2013 ovals. Its possible to fit. U need to trim about 1" x 2" of the ovals where it will touch the seat on both panels.

Another drawback is, the ovals has 3 lugs each to secure to the bike. With the 2014 seat, only 2 lugs will be used. U need to think of velcro or other mechanism to make it secure.

Wow, this is perfect. Thank you for sharing the picture. I have re-done the whole seat from corbin seats. They did fully customized seat for judge 2013. Perfect and serves the purpose very well. I will share the picture very soon.
