This Saturday I’m thinking we meet 8:00 at the Shell station at Day Creek off the 210 (There is a Jack in the Box there so we don’t have to wait in the cold.) kickstands up at 8:15. We ride out the 210 until it changes to the 134 then to the 101 and turn left up Topanga to Mulholland hwy to the Rock Store, from there we cruise the Santa Monica Mountain roads west and go north to Neptune’s Net, from there we Double back on hwy 1 through Malibu to the 10 to the 405 down to Cooks Corner, have lunch before riding Ortega Highway east to Hell’s Kitchen where we say our goodbyes and head home. Probably a 350 mile day. Easy pace, with a little of everything (lane splitting only if traffic drops below 35mph and everyone is ok with it)

    Who’s in?

Awe man Topanga Canyon Boulevard is definitely on my bucket list for a 2 wheel ride. Whenever I worked out in LA I always made a point to hit this up in the rental car, if time permitted that is. I like taking it from the Canoga Park area all the way to the ocean (west/south bound). A couple of summers in the late 90's I was doing some work out at Rocketdyne (before Boeing bought it and sold it) and would drive this at least 5 times a week in both directions. Driving it the other was okay, but there's just something about being dumped out at the ocean after driving through all those curves. I like this video series because you can see which part of the road he's traveling. The rider makes it sound like driving/riding this in a spirited fashion is no longer possible, which is a drag to say the least.

    Have a great ride!

Temps in the mid-50s, partly sunny, is cold? Better bring your heated gear...

I rode from Campo, to Warner Springs to Beverly Hills and back yesterday. I'm good on LA county traffic. Enjoy the ride. Maybe I'll meet you guys at Cooks or Hells.

I'd love to but I've got to head to Portland for work. Sounds like a great ride. Perhaps another weekend. That meet spot is 5 minutes from my house.

@Bujee1 Man that sounds good, but work calls. I'm just a tad too far North anyway! Enjoy the ride, I think the weather just might cooperate for you guys.

Nice ride but few places to stop. My wife got on me last time I rode it by myself. Something about helicopter rescues if I crash......
