I love Mexican food-- and tacos are awesome. Love the heat --- and it has no effect on me, either....

    But..... TWENTY!!??! LOL! :)

It’s fun too. That’s if you can do it. I know guys that buy old redone muscle cars. They drive them and show them only to go to events and trade for something new. Not sure there are keepers anymore. Well except for my Vic’s.

My quest to replace my sold Yamaha V star 1300 deluxe has come to an end as of Dec. 15. I considered about 6 different models of bikes and then about two weeks ago my interest changed and decided to make my Vic CC stablemate another large cruiser, bagger that would be American made. Came down to either a Honda VTX 1800 tourer ( Made in Marysville, OH ) or a Victory Kingpin which I love the looks of and of course it's a Victory. It was a tough choice and every day I would change my mind on which one as their was a very nice VTX 1800 tourer only 135 miles away in Indiana. In the end I had to go over 300 miles darn near to St. Louis, but surely it was worth it. Enter my 2008 Victory Kingpin. Accessories include the Wide Open Custom Fairing and full Kingpin tourer package. It also has the Victory performance shot gun pipes. They look nice, but much to loud for me. If anyone knows how to calm them down considerably, let me know or I will switch them out to OEM pipes. There are some on facebook marketplace and maybe ebay. I would also like to get the OEM Victory windshield and authentic hardware brackets as I could change out the looks from time to time in short order.

Pere Marquette state park at the confluence of the Illinois and Mississippi rivers. I try to get over there at least once a year to take the half mile hike up to McAdams Lookout. Had a beautiful 70 something degree day Christmas Eve.

Did not know this park was there on the mighty Mississipi. Father Marquette as he was known in our Michigan state history studies back in the 1960s was big historical figure.

It’s just alright typical Harley suspension not very impressive at all. Still handles a bit like a tank. LOL I’m used to it Brad I’ve been on them since 74 they are what they are. I’ve never made them out to be anything more. Comes out of the hole pretty nicely and sounds pretty bad ass. It says Harley on the tank I mean come on what more is there !
