@13SicVic is always posting pics of his AFG XC with Mt. Hood in the bg. So I figure I will too...

It looks so tiny with phone cameras.

Been over this pass a bunch a times and never stopped and took a pic.

It was 87 F when I left the house and 53 F a hour and half later. Got lucky and missed a down pour just north and south of me.

Just before we rode 150 miles through Canyon Lake twisties- learning how to ride with my new 16" apes was a blast! I was stretching my back, not reaching for my 6 shooter!

Apparently your ankle is back in business so that’s good.

That is a ride I haven’t been on yet. What mountain are you riding up for that view?

The mountain in the background on my last post was St. Helens so now you have a new goal.

Dammit. This was parrot mountain west of Newberg. Can see St. Helens and hood and occasionally get a glimpse of Adams and Ranier if the humidity is right.

Got the daughter out on a birthday ride with me, or so she thought, until we pulled into the local airport for a biplane ride.

Local tourist spot called Crown Point.

Well 108 here today so we are adjusting our riding times on my 4 days off weekly no choice ! Rolled early for Breakfast and stopped to see my favorite bartender. Roll out a couple hundred and parked by 1:30. Yes a balmy 104 as I rolled in LOL but it’s a dry heat ! 4B5CDA58-AF49-4A55-BA01-AE13718EB633.jpeg

Yeah its a dry heat. Living in Palm Springs from 1985 to 96 when friends from back home in Michigan would use that term I would suggest to them to climb into an oven at 110 degrees for an hour and tell me how it feels.

How about a Sunday tríp? From Barcelona to Madrid, 611 kms (380mi) in 5:30 hours. This time I stopped at the Viewpoint of the Alcarria in Guadalajara. The Alcarria landshape won fame by the book written by the world famous spanish writer Camilo José Cela: "Viaje a la Alcarria"( Tríp to the Alcarria). Camilo José Cela (11 May 1916 – 17 January 2002) was a Spanish novelist, poet, story writer and essayist associated with the Generation of '36 movement and won a Nobel Price.

Got out with a few friends and made a couple new ones on a ride Sunday for a buddies 60th birthday.
He wanted to ride from Vancouver Wa. to Trout Lake Wa. For a Huckleberry Shake.
    He is a wild one.
