LOL actually 4 of the members of my riding club switched to spyders this year....think we have like 75 members and there are 10 spyders in the group now....think that may mean we're getting older LOL

Love the bridge never been there gonna have to check that out....

    Stay Safe,

    Rob

I'm replying to this a bit late, but I've been living in Northern AZ on the rez for the past 15 months so I figured I'd share some of my musings.

Az has a lot of different areas to offer.. but from my wanderings I think if I were to pick a spot to settle down I'd go to Payson or thereabouts. It's right up 87 aways from Phoenix in the mountainous areas.. and some of those roads are awesome. You're not down in the valley where it hits 114 F, but you're not but an hour from it. I took a look at Prescott because i'd always heard it was the place to be to retire.. but I just didn't like the way the town was laid out. <shrug> Not saying it's a bad place.. but a lot of what I liked about Az (lack of traffic, lights, congestion) Prescott HAD. Anyways.. I HATE the heat, even when it's dry. You couldn't GIVE me a house in Phoenix or thereabout.. UGH.

I've taken a few pics up here on the rez in Az, figured I'd share a few...

This was taken at the top of First Mesa, above Polacca Az. Windy nasty little road to get up to and all unpaved once you do.. but makes for a decent pic.

Taken from the road just past Second Mesa. VERY sheer dropoff there although they do have the guardrails to keep you from falling over. :)

Beauty shot of the old 07 KPT near Tuba City AZ. This is about an hour east of the Grand Canyon.

Same spot, this time looking north towards Page Az. It's been interesting living up here on the different reservations for the past 15 months or so.. but we're heading just about as far east as you can and not be standing in the Atlantic in a few weeks. Gonna try to get a few more pics before we go.. I really haven't done much riding much to my chagrin.

@kaitiff ive been to payson it’s ok and it’s definitely cooler those 10 bad weeks. Really not much there tho. I like to be a bit away from everything but not far from anything . I don’t sweat the heat I’ve been riding in it for years I’m good to about 105 my wife also likes the heat. When it gets any worst no big deal. I have a 42ft RV I can put up North and still have a place here so we’re good. But yes I’ve also ridden quite a bit of AZ thru the years and there is some Beautiful riding that we. And as I’ve said Cali, NM Utah and Colorado are not far away for riding anymore.

I am living in the Village of Oak Creek. We moved here in the early 90's and set a mobile home on a 40k lot . We sold that place, but we are still here. we love it. I would live in Payson, or Pine, or Pinetop. I have lived in Flagstaff, when I was attending N.A.U. and loved it. The traffic there now is worse than Prescott .
