A couple years ago I bought a tank bag for my old 82 Honda CX custom.the old bikewas already showing some years and the paint was very strong so I was never thought twice about using the tank bag.
I got my 07 Vegas this spring and with the horror stories of soft paint I have been affraid to use my bag with this bike. It is a OGIO bag, a fairly big one thatholds on with 8 magnets. The material that makes contact with the tank is a softer bendable platic/rubber like crap that I never really liked. Would you guys risk it or should I look into something else that would be a little softer on the tank.
