I just had a encounter with my 2005 Vegas and a curb (while dong a 180 degree turn around when my clutch cable snapped). My Vegas went down on the left side and snapped the shifter rod, (and my ankle). I have been looking to get a replacement somewhere without much success. Does anyone have info on where I might find one? At least my broken ankle will eventually fix itself. I am a bit worried about fixing the Vegas. Thanks!

Thanks BobMoe for the update! I have been waiting since last September. Polaris has given me 3 dates for "availability", of this part since then. Last date was January 17. Yours is the forth one. February 10th eh. We will see, although I am not holding my breath.

When checking with the dealer I ordered the part with,... he said there were "many" waiting for this part. Even though my Victory is a 2005, the same part applies to the newest models, which are still supported. Makes you not want to purchase anything from Polaris, if this is the way they treat their customers. Anyway, this is a "old song" sung many times before....
