Another bullet hole sticker will fix anything but I’m out of chrome turn signal indicators. Yes those were mine. A gift to the crazy one from slicks 11XC. Your bike has slick dna.

Turn signal came through it ok,
Got dislodged and was just a matter of pushing it back on.
They're designed that way I presume.
Had real bullet holes in my 1959 Holden car when I was 19
Bit of an experiment to see what my
.22 rifle would do to quality steel.
Got me pulled over a few times but there's no law against shooting your own car...Elvis did it.

Went on another ride today to a place called O'Reillys it's 36kms each way, that's 72 kms all up of almost constant bends , turns, hairpin switchbacks , with varying grades uphill downhill , various chambers, occasional oncoming vehicles, and lots and lots of 10km, 20km, 30km and some 40 kmh twists and turns.
By the time I got to the top I'd almost had enough....and then there was the run back down!
Here's some pic of the road and the scenery...not that I was doing much sightseeing on that road! IMG20210902161304.jpg IMG20210902144500.jpg IMG20210902153138.jpg IMG20210902153202.jpg IMG20210902153431.jpg

An enjoyable ride once I got into the rhythm of the road, it demands 100% riding effort and input mixed with vigilance and skill...very rewarding to get it right...it's not fast ride by any means , wouldn't have been quicker than 50mph at any time and on the real tight 10km(6mph) posted switchbacks it was back to 1st a few times and ride the rear brake lightly while feathering the throttle to swing the bike around.
This bike is either On or Off the power so you have to be thinking ahead and in the groove constantly to get a nice flow happening. IMG20210902151848.jpg export1630581961950.jpg

Yes, yes it was. I'll see if I can get some pics.
Nice pics of the mountains out the back of you. You have to be really plugged in to ride those roads enjoyably and well; and pick the right day so they're not full of poor riders on Ducatis, the ones with more money than skill.
My young bloke lived at Springbrook for a few years.

Distinct heart shaped impression of both nuts between the tips of the flames, next pic helps to show location.

    20210903_140138.jpg

Lot of patina on that 1992 paint, trophy plate from old dirt drag win on aircleaner, an easy to service fuel filter, CV carb back on it, S&S E currently lent to a mate.
The dent came from sliding the front out on ice a few years ago.
It's an old dog but I love it.

    Love the patina flame-job!
    Priceless!
A time machine a true work of art..

Was the dirt drag win, Purga Creek?

No, just down the road at Aratula. On my fifth run, had a dead heat with a big inch Shovelhead, he pulled ahead on the run off and won Top Bike, I got Top Street Bike.
The flames were my 40th birthday present to myself.
Like me, they're a bit older and more battered now.
Somehow the cut down seat covered in duct tape just looks old and shabby, not old with patina.

    Didn't really notice the seat,
    does the job don't it?
That's all it has to do...
Purga Event was at Aratula annually, as was the "Why waltz when you can Rock n Roll" event , both great party weekends, not to be missed,
Dirt drags, non-stop bands, strippers, fires surrounded by partying people.
I'd get there Friday evening and leave Monday morning.
I can even remember bits and pieces of what happened...epic days and nights long gone.
Good chance I was there and saw your racing, it was a blurred weekend!

Just in the newsagents shop flicking through the new magazines and spotted the Burleigh Bars full page ad.
I was over there at their workshop on Friday talking with the boys, in particular Hamish , who is designing their new website upgrade as it was last done in 2011...
He's gonna use some of my pix on the new site and probably some video taken from behind the Burleigh Bars when they were on my Vegas fanging through some twisties.
The business is expanding and they recently got full worldwide DOT approval.
PM me if you're wanting a set and I'll get you a $100 off.
Only for steel frame Vic's though as the alloy frame series cost more to manufacture than they can sell for.
Steel frames up to 1 3/4" cos of the top triple tree design Vic used ..
ALL HD's though,.. I know some of you ride both

Out riding yesterday , enjoying my Freedom while I still have it.
New 'laws' coming in from 17Dec restrict where I can and can't go.
Don't really give a rats arse as long as I have the Freedom of the Road! IMG20211110145823.jpg IMG20211110145756.jpg IMG20211110145721.jpg

It's good to see that bike. Crazy to think it's on the other side of the planet from where I last saw it.

What kind of laws and restrictions on where you can and can't go?
