According to an image posted on the Victory Motorcycles Twitter account this afternoon, there seems to be a new project afoot from Victory and the Southern California bike builder Roland Sands. The Race to the Clouds refers to the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. This race is the oldest organized race in the US, and some of the most elite racers from around the world test their mettle against the mighty mountain.

The silhouette of the bike looks like nothing in the Victory lineup, so I am pretty excited to see what is going to come out of the RSD camp on this one! Does "Project 156" refer to engine size?! Could there be a big motor hanging from this sporty chassis?

Time will tell. I am pretty excited though!

If you do a search there are articles about it. He was running on a old air strip and had nitrus on. He was in 5th gear when a piston broke and he still crossed the line around 186 if I recall with out looking it up. I always wondered what became of the bike. He had said it wasn't for sale. Lloyd built the original engine.
