Is it difficult to replace, or eliminate the rear brake and running light? I want to go to a turn signal that incorporates the running and brake lights in it. I am experimenting with a different seat and rear fender and it would be easiest to get the look I want if I could eliminate the central run/brake light.

I see on the internet that turn/run/brake lights are available. The wires on the Octane all lead inside the brake light and then exit back out. Is there some electronic box inside the brake light that does the “switching” and activates the appropriate light/flasher? Can this be bypassed?
