My 1999 V92C still has the OEM rear driven sprocket [64T, part #5131561-067]. As some other '99 owners experienced, the tack welds which fastened the sprocket's outer belt retention ring failed. This occurred in 2009 while I was riding a few hundred miles from home, so I had to hacksaw the ring off while beside the road. I cannot have it rewelded to the sprocket. Although the drive belt continues to align with the rear sprocket, I want to eliminate the risk that the belt will run off of the sprocket by replacing the sprocket. The replacement sprocket [part# 5132310-067] is available new for around $460. However, I have found some salvaged 64T sprockets for around $100. They are part# 1341334 [2000-2001 V92s] and part #1341378 [2002-2006 V92s]. The sellers claim these sprockets well fit a 1999 V92C.

Can anyone verify that the newer sprockets will work on a 1999 V92C?
