does anyone know what the stock length is on a rear suspension link for our bikes?
I have a CCT link and want to cut it to drop the bike one inch. This one reads just over 13" from end to end

I know my riding Partner had a OEM link replaced with a 1 1/2" lower with lower seat. Then he found the passenger hold strap under the seat and removed it to gain even more. The dealership took care of the link and I believe they were the Kissimmee Victory Dealer and were good folk. A few other Dealerships didn't know it existed...

Now that was a XR...

Only need to take a 1/2" out of the stock link to lower the bike 1". I do believe stock is 13", but I am not at home to measure the one I took off a XC.

I wasn't sure if the Magnum and XC were the same length since the Mag sits lower.

@Maggie Mae . I measured the one off my old XC and it is just over 13" tip to tip. The Magnum does set lower but I don't know if it's just the link or combination of the link and shock.

Thank you sir. I am going to try and measure mine while still in the bike. Trying to eliminate down time since I ride year round

No, did not have any info on length. I already have a spare link and the tools to cut and weld it back together. Just want to make sure that the XC is the same size as the Mag or if the Mag is shorter. I will just measure my stock and report back to you guys about it.

Once i cut mine I threaded the two tubes screwed in a stud to both haves and welded it extra strend the doesn't hurt
