I've been looking for those chrome buttons that fit over bolt heads. I want them for the 4 windshield bolts, but haven't been able to find any of large enough diameter to fit over the heads. (about 5/8ths I.D.) I've checked J&P Cycles, a big truck accessory store in FL near the I-75 & turnpike, & other truck stops, etc. Any suggestions?

See if this is what your looking for.Its worth a shot. You could also take one of the bolts to the local hardware store and match the length and thread but with a smaller head diameter. Good luck.

The snap caps are what I'm looking for. From what I see on the website, none are large enough inside diameter that the windshield bolts headswill fit in. As for the bolt idea, I checked a local hardware store that carries a large assortment of chrome hardware. But with the stepped shoulder on the stock bolts, I couldn't come up with any proper bushings to make them work. Thanks

You could look at this web page it is called chromed hog so it caters to (itpains me to say it, harleys) but they have tons of chrome bolt covers in different styles at a very reasonable price. They might have what you are looking for.
