    Hello Everyone,

New to the forum so please forgive me if I'm not posting in the right thread.

I have had my eye on a Gunner for some time and am getting ready to pull the trigger. I have found a dealership that has a new 2017 Gunner (green color) and their out the door price is $13,900.

I am wondering what others paid for a new Gunner and if others think this is a good deal or not.

    Thanks for your input.

If your in the USA that's about $3k high unless you are adding a LOT of extra go fast/performance mods. Look at cycletrader.com as these things are being sold for 9999 every day.

    Welcome aboard!

Shop around and you will find a good deal. Especially if you are willing to travel a bit to get it. Also, keep in mind that you can have a bike shipped for around $500 give or take anywhere in the US.

My local dealer sold their last '17 gunner for $10,145 with no mods this last week. Another one a bit aways from me had a nice one (new '16 Gunner, 0 miles) with upgraded bars, grips, mirrors, pipes, seat and rack (about $2k in mods retail) for an out the door price of $9500.

There are several on Craigslist around me for $7k-$10k with low miles and mods. So, I would say shop around or play hardball with negotiations. You really shouldn't be much above $10k from a dealer if you just have to buy from a dealer.

MIne was offered for 10,800 initially. So I guess after tax title, and whatever other fees you're paying that may or may not be high. The bike itself should be less than 11k, and even lower if you're military. They are still doing to hero discount.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. Having this information on hand was super helpful when making my decision.

I went into the dealer's today and they refused to budge on the price. Broken down, the price of the bike was $11,500. Getting up to $13,900 was sales tax, vehicle license fee, electronic filing fee, license fee, tire fee, blah blah blah bullsh*t, bullsh*t, bullsh*t fee.

I was told that this was the last Gunner in the state and they had to go to Reno, NV to get it. I called several dealers in the Bay Area and this seems to be true - new Gunners are rare in these parts. I was also told that I was getting a $2,500 discount off the MSRP.

I ended up not purchasing the bike since there was no wiggle room on price. I did test drive a Scout and really liked it. There is a pretty good special running on them right now so I am going to do some homework on them and may pick one of those up. If anyone has any input on the Scouts, please share. Otherwise I will be posting on the Indian forums.

Thanks again for everyone's input. I also appreciate that there were no snarky replies as a newbie here. You guys rock.

If you like the Scout and it's not too small for you, see if you can find an Octane. Around here they're selling for 2/3 of a Scout and some would argue it's at least as good if not better ( I'm going with hearsay not personal experience).

If you really want the Gunner and don't need dealer financing, don't give up on Craigslist or the CycleTrader...there are some great deals out there.

I love the look of the Scout/Octane but it fits me like a 7/8 scale bike. Just a bit too small for a 6'1" guy.

    Good luck!

In may of 2016, I paid 11,700 out the door for my new 2016 Green Gunner. I would shop around on cycle trader or ask what discounts you may qualify for.

I just purchased a Gunner from Ray's Motorsports, PA. in May 2017 (2017 Gunner). Price of just the bike, before all the Bulls*it taxes was 10,800.
