Hi. Looks like the drive belt on my 2003 vegas is rubbing on the lugs inside the pulley cover. I can grind them down but was wondering if it would be ok to use the bike without a pulley cover ?
Has anyone else had this problem?

grind the nubs down. You sure would hate to have belt come off and lock up wheel

i wouldnt run the pulley completely naked ... theres nothing saying you CANT .. but i just wouldnt, that way nothing has a chance to get in-between the belt and the pulley
