    thanks for the hint. i could get a 16er ecu and a 16er wiring harness. will probably have to bite into the sour apple and buy it☹️☹️

    @Schnudedungger I’m not 100% sure if the 16+ ecu & harness is necessary but your problem may lie within that difference. I’d call a guru, Noe, Rylan, Lloyd or Conquest, I’d call them all just to ensure is a consensus on the issue

    I do not think you need to replace the wiring harness. You need to find a wiring diagram and see how the side stand switch operates. European bikes have them and they are easily bypassed so yours should be similar. I looked up the wiring diagram for my Guzzi. When I put my stand down and the bike is in gear this closes a relay and activates the kill switch.
    The relay itself or the wiring could be faulty as your switch checked ok.

    Hello rob, thank you for the information. I'll show a person who can read my circuit diagram. in the hope that my problem can be solved with it.
