Recently I read a book, Gun Control in the Third Reich: Disarming the Jews and the "Enemies of the State". The similarities between then and now is worrisome.

Gun control? What gun control? We have more guns than we have citizens here. So at what point in gun control do the police get sent to take our guns. I say never.

Right now, I can and will disagree with the call to war many are asking for. I don't see any effort to seek peace from DC. Only escalation.

It is not ridiculous. You say that the US, Nato, and Ukraine have been aggravating Russia so Russia invaded. Simply stated you justified the aggression from Russia into Ukraine as provoked. If we provoked them too as well as NATO then they would be justified to hit a NATO nation or a US ship,

Ukraine is its own nation, they are doing nothing wrong to Russia. This is not a rescue mission from Russia, not a liberation of Russians in Ukraine. This is a daily war crime against the Country of Ukraine. Some have said compromise. Well if Russia invaded us do we give them Florida to stop fighting? Eventually Ukraine will be a wasteland with much of its population displaced or dead.
