Doesn't bother me either way. I don't like mandates but if it was presented to me I'd accept it and not whine like a three year old. I'd either take the shot or look for other employment. Personally, I think the vaccine is better than nothing and will continue to get even better so I take it. I dont tell others if they should or shouldn't take it unless they ask my opinion. Then I tell them I would and why.
Mandates hopefully are coming from duly elected politicians that use health professionals advice and the will of the majority of their constituents. Whomever dosen't like it always has the opotion of trying to become the majority and change their representatives. The majority of our population support the vaccine and mandates if necessary.
You have a valid argument if all you care about is yourself. All the things you mentioned will only effect the health of an individual. A look back through history will show pandemics that killed over half of the population. Science and common sense has come a long way since those days where many of those diseases aren't even on the radar anymore. If nothing was done about covid and we just depended on herd immunity to get through it how many people is acceptable as a loss? The elderly the ones with compromised imunes the few totally healthy that for some reason it hits hard, ya screw em, toughen up man!
Good thing that in this economy they will be able to find a job easily. Construction, food industry, etc. etc. are in sore need of help. Be prepared to work hard for less pay and benefits though.

Nobody is suggesting for your wife to get the shot if she has health issues that would make it risky. Does she have a job that is mandating it? Im sure with a valid doctor's excuse the requirements would be lifted. I believe the requirement for the shots are lifted for everyone under the mandate as long regular testing is done. Again, I don't care if you get the shot or not. It's just a personal choice which has possible consequences.

Ok, so he's a 17 year old man fully responsible for buying an assault riflle and a vehichle to drive hundreds of miles with it across state lines into a group of protesters and had no idea that trouble might happen.
