Hey fellow Voggers. Hope all is well. Was wondering who has removed the passenger foot pegs and replaced with a heavier duty small floor board type that fits the stock Clevis. Was hoping to see a pic or two and get a replacement that still exists for sale.

I had bought these to match my Kuryakyn Kinetic floorboards but my wife nixed the idea. They're half the size of the stock passenger floorboards. Didn;t give her enough room to stretch her legs on longer rides. Still think they look nice! Had to send them back.

in fact they do... i had bought a pair that i was going to use on an M109R. I'll snag some pictures when i get home, but if you want to buy the adapters, you're more than welcome to buy the black ones I have. they have been used, but they are still in excellent shape and would save ya some $$$. pm me if you wanna see some pics.

The kinetic passenger floorboards are universal, which is why they make them still, but I do not think we can get kinetic floorboard replacements for our bikes for the rider.

Thank you and yes if your on pegs still it’s worth throwing them on there just for the looks alone. The factory foot pegs on a Magnum X1 especially really cheap s the bike out imo.

I put Kuryakan mini floorboards on my XR. They were a direct fit without an adapter. They were slightly angled in the upright position but layed down flat and had three adjustments forward and back.

Great looking bike. How did you get the pins out of the rear peg mounts ? I see it’s a c-clip of som type but it looks like I have to destroy Otto remove it.

It’s a wound wire type of ‘clip’ on my CCT. You can lift the end with a pick and then unwind it to remove it. Going back on is very easy.

Best is to replace it with a shoulder bolt and a nylock locking nut as per Paul’s video.

From your description, it sounds like the same type of retainer used to hold the wheel pack in place on a safe. Very sturdy type of clip, actually.

Thanks Mark. I just found a you tube clip from Witchdoctors. Tough little bugger that little wire clip. I have SS button head bolts and nyloc nuts ready for the replacement.

Hey Slick, if you're referring to adapters to allow them adjustment up and down, i think you are gonna have to look for a set of floorboard mounts for a CrossCountry tour. Those i believe have 3 spots for up and down adjustment of them. I have a normal XC, so the adapters i was referring to was to allow me to use them on the stock footpeg mounts which, from the way it sounds, is what you are rocking on your XC. but these are the adapters i am gonna need to use for my application:

The ones i have on those boards now are the ones for the M109R which won't work on the Victory.. or it may but not without a lot of extra work..
sorry i can't be more help brother.

Thanks for the info. I did order part 8867 black adaptors. What comes with the Kuryakyn li Eric mini boards are HD adaptors. They won’t work. They keep you from raising the floor boards. I am putting these on my 16 X1 and these bikes come with passenger pegs. Only tour models and 2010, 2011 Cross country’s came with passenger floor boards.

On my magnum I bought the rear bracket for a cross country tour with the stock rear floor boards. The bracket sits a couple inches lower than the one on the magnum and regular cross bike with pegs. It was a pain to put on, had to drop the exhaust but it made it a lot better for my wife who is also 5'9.
