If I am in California I do make a point to eat at least once at In-N-Out burgers.
A 5 Guys just opened in San Antonio and it is a great place to get a nice lunch.
Fudruckers is a few blocks from my office but I only eat there about three times a year.
In San Antonio, TX we do have some favorites.
Gourmet Burger Grill - My wife loves the place. It made #49 in the top Fifty in the State of Texas - Texas Monthly.
Chesters Burgers - Great everything and grease too.
Big'z Famous No. 1 - They have great burgers and host a Bike night once a month. It made #21 in the top Fifty in the State of Texas - Texas Monthly.
A Texas staple is Wataburger. Good burgers and everything else....not great but really good.
The place that made #19 in the top Fifty in the State of Texas - Texas Monthly, is called Momak's and it SUCKS. Oh the burgers are fine but the fries are CRAP. Frozen Fries would be better. Come on how hard is it to make fries. The real sad thing is that I could walk to the place from my house.
Speaking of fries, I love the In-N-Out fry process. Place potato in cutter over frier and pull.....repeat!
