Anyone ever done this on their own? The cover came with two little buffer pads of some sort (1/2" x maybe 2"). No instructions so i have no clue what the intended purpose of these is. Just wanted to ask before i installed the cover.

That cover should slide over the oil cooler with the padsholding it in place. the pads should keep it from vibrating.this all according to 2 wheel gears website.good luck.edited because my first response made no sence.
