I'm in the Park City area, and work in downtown SLC if you'd like to meet up some time.

Also, I'm considering doing the Fire Ride this Sept 11, which leaves from Harley SLC (http://www.utahrideplanner.com/events/index.php?com=detail&eID=91) and/or the Springville Tri-City Performance Fall Poker Run Sept 18:

Finally some interest! The thing that sucks is I won't be able to go on either one of these rides. I have a car show on the 11th, and I will be out of town on business the 18th. I will have to look into lava-palooza.
This weather sure is bumming me out, reminding me the season is coming to an end way too fast.

I do the same - as long as the snow is just on the side of the roads and the roads are dry enough to avoid black ice I ride during the winter. Last year I rode into Nov and started again in Jan. Of course this was on my V-Star that has a much lower center of gravity (seat height is around 20").

I live in Roy, have a 2009 Vision. I ride until the second week of November and then park it until late January. I'll only break it out if it is sunny and dry until April. One day global warming will make Utah a state where you can ride all year long, can't wait for that.
