Hello! I don't own one yet but looking hard at Octane and Gunner.

You guys and gals have been awesome. I've been trolling for about a month. And this site seems to be the most active for Vic owners.

Looking forward to going on some rides soon! Take care and looking forward to being a part of the group.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
I'm in the NW suburbs of Chicago. Grew up in Elk Grove Village.
My Story:
2003-2005 rode a Cbr600f4i Moved on to other motor related hobbies.

Below is what I have learned. I know riding them will help for sure. But just some thoughts. Honestly I'd go with the one with the best brakes if all other things were equal.

OCTANE:
Pros
Power everywhere
It's a sport bike cruiser
low seat height
Unique
Light and can throw it around
better than normal lean angle.
Cons:
Shorter range
Brakes?(your thoughts?)

GUNNER:
Pros:
thick torque pull
Good range due to tank size
True cruiser feel
been around longer. More accessories.
Cons:
Brakes?
Heavier
less flick-able

Any additional thoughts or input is appreciated! Looking forward to being a part of the gang!

How is that windscreen? What kind of MPG are you getting?
The windscreen is excellent. It's a Marlin from Dart.

MPG is around 45 with my mods and my riding style, I'd say that's pretty good.
