I don't pay attention to New Years Resolutions and it's already Jan 7th so most people have forgotten the ones they made anyway.

Though I do purpose to run up more miles on my beautiful 2012 Victory Cross Country Tour this year than I did last year.

I've never done them either. I hate the new year because I always see a uptick in gym goers for the first few months of the year. Luckily the gym I go to now is not having a big one and I think that is because it is a warehouse gym so many don't like the style. No AC and little heat doesn't appeal to all.

I think the only resolution I've ever kept was to stop making them

My resolution is to live everyday to its fullest. Too much sickness and death lately. Life is so short. We have Victory motorcycles and from what I read here my VOG brothers have good lives and relationships. Enjoy your family and your Victory. I wish you all a happy and fulfilled new year and every year that is given to you.

I’ve made a few New Years promises to myself that have stuck-I like to exercise my will power muscles & mindset.
-Eat a piece of fruit every day-going on five years now
-No new calibers in the firearms collection- actually kept this for two years after I went off the rails for a while, I’m keeping it more as a guideline rather than a rule this year.
    - Not to weigh more on Jan 1 than last year, I write the weight on a marker board on the wall I see every day-kept for 4 years now (35lbs down from 1st year)
I always give up something for Lent too-it’s only 40 days so pretty easy.
Being mentally strong needs training just like going to the gym.

Excercise is definitely the key. For both mind and body. Thanks for reminding and sharing that.

Try to refrain from leading an armed revolution. This is gonna be tough.
