Hello, I’ve been on a 2006 HD Road King for the last 6 years, I’ve always loved the Victory brand and finally bought a 2016 Magnum, I love it!!! I do need advice on the wind issue though, I ran the fork mounted deflectors on my HD but didn’t like the way they made the front end feel so I’m reluctant to put them on this bike, I can’t find the fairing deflectors anywhere, I have a 9 inch long rider windshield And I think it’s ok, the wind that’s kicking my butt is coming from around the fairing and up the side of the tank, any advice will be appreciated

Welcome to the VOG. Lots of knowledgeable CC owners here so I'm sure your wind management issues will be solved. Enjoy your new ride!

Might want to ask your questions in the Cross Country forum for more responses.

I had the same problem with my 2016 Magnum, I put a 13" 7Jurock windshield on it along with the fork deflectors and it solved most of my problems . I haven't noticed any vibration or shaking problems with the fork deflectors. I'm 6'4 " tall by the way.

Sadly some of the products that might help are no longer around. I got the kuryakyn Lower Triple Tree Wind Deflector and it helped me, but good luck finding one,,lol

I like my homemade fork deflectors. With a Jurock flip windshield (I look over it) I don't get much buffeting.

Congratulations on your beautiful Magnum and welcome to Victory Motorcycles ownership. One of the most effective ways to eliminate buffeting is to replace your Cross Country (CC) windshield system with the Cross Country Tour (CCT) system. The CCT windshield is held off the fairing and also has a pressure release opening in it. It’s extremely effective at reducing buffeting as the pressure rides up the inside of the CCT windshield. My aftermarket CCT windshield is 3” lower than the oem one was. The second most effective way to eliminate buffeting on your Magnum is to install the CCT lower fairing winglets. The winglets only work if you don’t have the Victory forged Highway bars as they’d hit them on full turn.

Contact Kuryakyn and ask if they still have any deflectors like Tejas240 (above) bought.

The CFAD style/model will depend on if you have ABS or not.
