Congratulations and take care of it and you've likely not made a mistake. Keeping mine, and for some of the same reasons you stated. I've had a few other bikes and ridden just about every style at one time or another. In a word, it fits. No other bike I've ridden or think about maybe I'll get one and ride it gives me the feeling I get when I ride my CCT. It fits me, the way it moves, the way it sits, the way it stops and the way it responds to my input. Almost perfect. Enjoy yours.
New to me 2016 Victory xc
My 2nd Victory. Hope I haven’t made a mistake buying this bike knowing we’re 6 years into Polaris commitment on suppling parts. I do love this machine and I’ll ride it as long as I can.
I normally don’t keep a bike more than 2 years. Bought my first bike at 14 y/o I’m now 60. There’s something about how a Victory looks, feels and rides.
This is just my opinion but all the electronics on modern bikes, ride control, gps, stereo blah blah blah just takes away from the ride. It doesn’t really matter where you’re going as long as you’re behind bars. Or maybe I just don’t want to spend 30 to 40k on a bike.
This thing will do exactly what I want.
