My 2nd Victory. Hope I haven’t made a mistake buying this bike knowing we’re 6 years into Polaris commitment on suppling parts. I do love this machine and I’ll ride it as long as I can.
I normally don’t keep a bike more than 2 years. Bought my first bike at 14 y/o I’m now 60. There’s something about how a Victory looks, feels and rides.
This is just my opinion but all the electronics on modern bikes, ride control, gps, stereo blah blah blah just takes away from the ride. It doesn’t really matter where you’re going as long as you’re behind bars. Or maybe I just don’t want to spend 30 to 40k on a bike.
This thing will do exactly what I want.

Congratulations and take care of it and you've likely not made a mistake. Keeping mine, and for some of the same reasons you stated. I've had a few other bikes and ridden just about every style at one time or another. In a word, it fits. No other bike I've ridden or think about maybe I'll get one and ride it gives me the feeling I get when I ride my CCT. It fits me, the way it moves, the way it sits, the way it stops and the way it responds to my input. Almost perfect. Enjoy yours.

If you were restoring a 1958 BSA and needed some part, there'd be one for sale on the internet. Don't worry about parts availability.

Long time lurker eh? You deserve a badge or somn for the belonging to the site for 9 years before making a single post? That’s gotta be a record.

Lately I've been out on My CCT, going to work, the store and even out for a ride or two. But I keep hearing the same thing from a number of people, both younger and older.. First, they recognize the bike. It hasn't always been like that. And second, the next thing they say is 'those are great bikes'. Can't help but wonder if that means anything? I tell them to go find one, and get it. But it seams that there's a bit more recognition of what these bikes are and can do out there. Or not. I'm not sure, but it would be interesting to know.

I’m just not much of a social media type of guy to converse a lot…… But I do read a lot of things on this site and if I’m not mistaken this is probably the first time I ever responded to anything. I will do my best to try to engage more and to be more social with my Victory family.

I’ve never been either, in fact this is about the only place online I post but, as you’ve found, this group has a way of pulling us in and bringing us outta our shells. It took a hellava long time to get you but you’ve been got!!! Hope to hear more of your insights, experiences, wisdom and always some friendly banter
