Hello VOG!
Just picked up my newest (and first) touring bike: 2011 Cross Country. A great deal on a great ride!
This is my first touring bike, and from the 2 rides I've had so far - not sure I'll ever get a different brand for long rides.

Wheel Tire Land vehicle Fuel tank Vehicle

This is my first Victory and my first touring, but not my first ride. Been riding about 40 years now. The others in my current garage:
- '99 Honda Shadow ACE 750 short chop: my first "build"
Sky Tire Wheel Cloud Fuel tank

- '72 Ironhead: my first "basket-case!" (pay no attention to my Beautiful Bride's Jeep)
Wheel Tire Vehicle Land vehicle Sky

- '19 Heritage (that's not me - that's my Beautiful Bride!)
Wheel Tire Fuel tank Automotive lighting Motor vehicle

I'll put in more pics and video in a folder if I ever learn how.

About me: 34+ years Active Duty Navy and counting, though I'll think there gonna send me out to pasture here real soon so I can finally ride more!. My passion is billiards, but woodworking and tinkering in a shop are always good, too.
Currently living in the eastern Bay area and I'm really looking forward to this CC and this forum!

Thanks!

Welcome and nice stable. Your latest addition will leave all the others wanting. You start riding the Vic and you will love it more each time you get on. Looks like a Russel seat from what I can see. That's a nice addition and worth as much as the bike almost. Understand you just got it and you will need to ride it a while, but consider cams and tune if not already there. Makes them run really nice.

I noticed the location of the pic with the wife. I went to a similar venue and got a bike for my wife. Best trade I ever made... Ok, got that out of the way, now we can have a conversation. Enjoy the bike.

Welcome from WV and Thank You for your service. I always liked that Imperial Blue. 34 years is a long time, must ask your rank as my memory says 28 years max for non coms unless times have changed.

Yep - I'm getting the "leave the others wanting" vibe already!
As for the trade.... I'm not there with this one, but I've been there with earlier wife versions!!!! :ROFLMAO:

Yep - 34 years is a long time! I'm a CDR / O-5 now. I served 14 years enlisted as a submarine auxiliary mechanic. Got commissioned as an Officer through the Limited Duty Officer program 21 years ago. 35 is my max (later this year) unless I promote one more time this summer....

Excellent. Sounds like we have a "too many wives" issue. I finally got it right with number 3. Keeping this one. In fact, I've already told her that if she decides to go, I'm going with her. I would say that part of the problem was me, but I'm sitting here alone so I won't say that. I was all their fault.

Thanks! Only took a lot of time, work and money! :D
That's the magic equation. These kids coming up need to learn it instead of expecting everything to be given to them.

I have a bass boat, 04' Jeep TJ, 10' F150 Platinum 4x4, 17' Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited, a 19' Grand Cherokee Trailhawk...... Plus my two Visions.

My truck is my baby and lives mostly in the garage. Getting close to finally hitting 40k miles.

My issue now is I don't have room for anything else. :sad2: Though I've pitched the idea of turning the living room into a motorcycle garage to the wife. She's thinking it over. 🤣

Time for an addition or a different garage with attached house
Thankfully my garage is double deep and we have covered parking on the front of the house too. My boat, truck and both bikes fit in the garage..... Among other things like tools and such. The three Jeep live under the covered parking up front.
