I learn Spectro Golden came out with a 20/40 semi synthetic oil. I sent them an Email about the oil and what I had what they said: The % of synthetic mix is approx 50% and is a Group IV (PAO) base stock. And this product would work excellent for my application. So aftermarket oil choices are slowly coming out!!

I use extra virgin cold pressed olive oil only. It's the best and the only thing I will use because I read it on the interwebs.

I prefer peanut oil for the delicious crisp and high smoke point.

I'd be curious of the additives etc. As long as it doesn't have the friction modifiers that would make the clutch slip should be just fine. Although the 'faithful' will be her soon to tell you that unless it is the holy annointed OIL OF VICTORY your bike will surely not go to heaven.

Pshhhh, peanuts and coconuts. Outrageous. Just kiss your clutches goodbye if they don't know the sweet, sweet kiss of extra virgin olive oil.

Do you plan to run the T6 through the summer?

I ran the T6 in my 07 KP not long after o got it for a little more than 100 miles. Was the only time I thought the bike ran hot. Would nearly blister my legs. Changed it as soon as I could get the Vic oil. Tried Mobile 1, but cost nearly as much as the Vic oil, so I only run Vic oil now. Cheers

OK, but you DO realize that it's not an Italian motorcycle, right?
    Are YOU Italian?
    Your spouse?
    Maybe some adopted Italian children?

You COULD be in serious trouble here........

Come on guys give the original poster a break here he is not trying to start the same old thread about what oil do you use. He just found out that there might be a new options for those people care to try or like Spectro products. Don't turn this into a comical spectical again.
