My latest project. Started off simple enough. Fix some crash damage to the fairing.

But then I open mouth and inserted foot. When I was asked if I could make the signal mounts go away.

You weren't supposed to notice that. There really isn't much to see. The business is hiding where the battery use to live.

@jmstang302 I wonder if that had anything to do with that hole in fairing, case of more power than ability lol. Your gonna have a lot of fun on that
I remember seeing that not long after I joined here, glad it found it’s way to you. Am sure he & many others are happy that your putting love and care back into it as he did. Thanks for being you & allowing his passion to live on

I saw that first picture and thought it might be Georges. I'm sure he's smiling watching you work. Nice work so far, keep the pics coming.

Black is beautiful when it's fresh.
@jmstang302 ...... is George's bike your now or are you just doing the repairs. I didn't realize he had a Lloydz SC on the bike at the time...... or did you install that. Sorry I'm in a fog lately.

It was on the bike
What's the back half look like, or how much damage did it incur?

No she belongs to a brother.

Back in 2013 when George bought the bike, he paid for it, shipped it from the dealer to Lloydz for the SC install. He eclipsed more than 60,000 miles with her all our the USA & Canada. He did a Coast to Coast to Coast trip just a couple years ago...

When George passed he pulled the bike down (at speed) scrapping the crashbars and fairing. After he fell off, the bike righed itself and continued down the road for about a mile before coming to a rest.

The crash bars were removed, windshield replaced and she was flipped with "a hardly noticeable scratch on the fairing " after being donated.
Says a lot for Victory stability and balance that the bike could right itself and continue for nearly a mile..
