I’ll also spend the money needed for parts, with Polaris and the aftermarket, to keep my beautiful CCT on the road. I have no interest whatsoever in buying a Polaris Indian.

Madstad adjustable brackets, fobo tpms, a lil Velcro on the dash with a decent compass & a ram mount for ur smartphone will give ya all the same features as a 2022 machine without all the worries of 1 lil gremlin sidelining your bike. Almost olive us here can work on & maintain our Vics but it’s not as easy for the regular guy to troubleshoot an issue on a new highly electrically influenced machine. Tech gadgets are awesome when new but suck bigfoots stinky dik when they age and quickly become outdated. Besides it’s only “new” until the first payments made & becomes used thereafter.

I used to have a bike, a back pack hanging below my headlight in front of my tool bag, another on my backrest and that was it. I would look at a map and write on my left mirror with a crayon RT-- road-- R or L and mi. next line repeat. then the right mirror. Directions at a glance, lol. 100 miles later get gas, rub off the crayon and write on my mirrors again. I thought that was high tech! My cruise control was coated romex twisted tight around the grip with the twisted tail on the brake lever. Then really high tech came out with a thumb lock between your grip and signal housing for cruise. I knew that was the greatest thing ever for motorcycles 2nd only to electric start, how could anybody improve on that?

Rode all over the country. How did I survive lol.

    VISION, BABY!
    Lol.

I figured you'd overreact. Your logic is still non existent, BUT I do understand some of the emotion.

Heck, I was beside myself. You'll note I've been a regular on the VOG for 10 years this year. Long time.

We loved our Vics when there was no aftermarket and no one heard of them. We made the brand.

Looking at Indian now, I see the wisdom in what Polaris did, and they had no idea that a pandemic was coming wreaking havoc on sales.

Harley is a mess and backpedaling quick.

Indian is doing well with terrific machines that have the reliability I want.

Honestly, how can you blame someone for watching their backside?

Anyway, glad you like your Vision. I loved my big ugly bike, too!

    Good ol' days.
Just found an old PAPER map written all over from a wonderful adventure.
Had it strapped to my tank in a plastic sleeve.

I miss real maps. Found great places that way.

I seriously hate tv screens in cars and bikes.

This discussion was I thought about who is going to go buy a BRAND NEW Indian, you know, with the NEW model release. We already know you never will buy a new bike, and most of us if so inclined are taking Indian off the list.

Not fans of Indians? Apparently you guys haven’t seen the fantastically well produced, entertaining, well set and beautifully preformed outdoor show called Tecumseh, it’s happens most weekends during warm months at Sugar Loaf mountain theatre near Chillicothe Oh. Well, maybe not anymore since the over abundance of hurt feelings have turned politically correctiveness into a four year college degree and removed many words from our acceptable vocabulary. I luv pussies of all ages ( under 25 need not apply ) sizes & shapes, big lips, small lips, pink lips, light lips & dark lips, completely shaved, a landing strip or full jungle bush but I hate those other types...the PC pussies.

    Lol.
Since when did the VOG stay on topic?

Halfcrazy said "I'm selling my bike" and we talked about guns.

They keep saying how sporty they are but I don’t see it. I’m either full blown lazy boy ( tourers ) or something that’s playful, quick & can stand on its back wheel in 3rd gear and begs you to run it above 7500 rpm. I think the xct has exceeded my cruiser needs beyond what anyone’s making , my large touring bike feels as nimble as the medium cruisers of today. I’m just spoiled I guess. Whatever gets people riding is a good bike and I have great appreciation for that. Just ride sumpin
