what kind of mileage are you people getting with your indian scouts? kinda thinking on getting one. one drawback is the small gas tank. sometimes an open gas station can be hard to find around here at night.

We have a Scout 60 that my g/f primarily rides. I just put 100 miles on it myself (it’s a fun little bike, that’s for sure) and with me ripping on it like a hoolingan and weighing 225lbs I got 49.6mpg. It has a Clearview windshield, their fork lowers, and the factory saddle bags to create drag.

The weekend before Memorial Day weekend we rode out to Phoenix and back, my g/f rode her scout and I rode the XC. With her on it doing a mix of mountain highways and interstate her worst tank was 49mpg and almost all of her tanks were in the 51mpg range. Her fuel light came on twice just over 130 miles and when we stopped for fuel about 10 miles later it took on 2.7 gallons or so. I was very impressed with that little bike on that trip.
