I apologize if this has been covered before I couldn't find it on here but i could have missed it. Have questions regarding handlebars for my 2016 crosscountry.. I had a highball I traded in and after having the mini apes I can't stand the stock handlebars on the cross country being so low.. Only thing is I would like shorter bars than the highball had im not sure the length of those but I'm looking for some that are level with the fairing or below preferably or a little bit above if they have to be. I like the bars up in that position but not too tall.. Wondering if anyone has any advice or ideas who offers them? I saw Arlen ness has 8" modular drag bars but only for steel frame bikes that looked kind of like what id like I think.. Being able to use stock wiring would be a big plus.. Thanks in advance!

This is as far as I got last night these are vicbaggers tarzan bars +2 up +2 back they are perfect for me I'm 5'8 they sit just like you were describing. That picture with the cable is how much slack you have at no turn the clutch is about the same too you just have to reroute the clutch cable really easy.

You do know they have the modular bars for the Cross Country as well. I'm looking at adding them since my dealer has them in stock and I've seen them on a cc. Also check out the Victory factory Apes, not the mini apes. Those are bout the height your describing, that is the picture below .[dATTACH=full]12404[/ATTACH]

Sounds like you should check out the Ness modular mini apes. They are 11'' apes

It depends on how you tighten them down. At first I had mine too far forward, but after adjusting them back some they feel fine. The only thing is when you start bringing them closer to you they also lower.
I'll eventually change mine out with something a little taller.

Strokers Dallas Boogie Bars look like they could work well.

Do they place you farther forward than the stock bars? I want to go up a little, but not forward any.
You are stightly forward a little with these but it's not uncomfortable, for me at least. The mini apes gave me just the right amount of rise that I wanted for control and looks. I think most apes will bring you forward, more than stock bars. Could be talking out my ass on this being I've got more throttle time with rockets than I do "adult bikes".
