    If i install the maximus on my 2008 vision do i need to do anything else? I have stage 1 exhast and washable filter up front. I dont have the top filter yet. Thanks

    Load a tune.

    No specific mods are required but I would recommend the top filter. I love the big gulp you hear when you hammer down.

    FYI, some 2008 bikes are not Maximus compatible.

    One way is knowing the last 3 digits of your MAP sensor. If it ends with 099, then about a 50/50 shot. If ends in anything other than 099...you are out of luck.

    Thats what i have been finding out. Power commander doesn't make one for the 08. The maximus im looking at says 2008 thru 2017.

    Im afraid i dont k Nik ow where the map sensor is. Never worked much on new bikes.

    No, it is merely an indication of the ECM/ECU software version.

    Right side of bike, under throttle bodies attached to rear cylinder.

    If mine is not maximus capable could i use a Dobeck? My number is 816 i think.

    Yes all dobeck style tuners are the same for the most part.
