Maximus or Power Vision CX

    Yep. The Maximus would not let me perform a Data Log session with laptop connected or as Mobile Dyno (Maximus alone data log on ride) unless the Maximus was locked/married to the bike's ECM. Only the Centurion software (kind of like Digital Wrench for troubleshooting) could be used to "Talk" with the bike (beyond reading the details of the bike to determine base map) without locking the Maximus VCM to the bike's ECU. To lock the Maximus to the bike ECU, a flash needs to occur.

    So, what your saying is you couldn't get any info of the bike unless they where married together?

    If you married them, you would get what you needed, right?

    I was looking for information regarding weather or not to purchase a Maximus or a CX, but since it sounds like the CX was discontinued, that leaves me with no option besides the Maximus. I just want to make sure it will do everything I need it to (flash new maps as mods are done), and is somewhat user friendly.
