    Hello,
I'm a new Victory owner (Previous shadow 750, so have def moved up) and new to the forum. I just purchased an 08 KP 8Ball and have been querying left and right for the right setup for me. Was wondering if there is any way to have a quick release hard-bag setup as well as a luggage rack and backrest quick releasable? Is this possible or is it a one or the other (One permanent, while the other quick release) ? Please help with any feedback!

    Thanks in advance!
    P.S. Loving her so far!

Besides the stock style bags to include Viking and the bunch there isn't much for quick removable....ghost brackets from edge might help you....The backrest on the other hand can be had from grasshopper for about $100. It mounts under the passenger seat and helps a lot.

Sorry, will post as soon as I get the chance for a decent snap..

morgdog, It seems that the ghost brackets were all I have been able to find, which is fine but just wasn't sure if I were to purchase those, if a luggage rack could be compatible with it and also quick removable? Thanks for the tip on the grasshopper backrest, but again, is it compatible with a luggage rack?

I will let you know ahead of time, Ghost brackets will work but the bags are not straight up and down. They have a tilted look to them from the back. We had to modify spacers to have the brackets sit right. Kingpin, Vegas, Gunner, Highball mounts bolts are mounted at an angle. Other than that the brackets work well. The Victory quick release brackets worked great without modifying, but have since been discontinued.

Vic makes a two up rack and backrest, you may find one on Ebay but expensive from Vic. You won't need a separate backrest in the back if you slap a rack and trunk on, they have a rest pad on them. Since grasshopper backrest sticks out, a rack that bolts to the same seat won't work. There are aftermarkets that do both some look great, others look like crap.

You can get other universal quick brackets for 70 bucks, or go with ghost, Viking bags sells them..around 160 bucks. Again, it depends on budget and what you like or not.

I have the two up rack and rest, and grasshopper on the front.

Another thing...a aftermarket rack generally wont fit direct ...the tailight and plate are in the way. need to move it to the axle or find a laydown bracket like Kuryakyn or Ness.

I'm a new member to the VOG community, and I'm desperately looking for a backrest / luggage rack for my 2003 V92TC. I've been to the end of the internet and can't find ANYTHING !!! Does anyone have one for sale , or can someone point me in the right direction ? Thanks.

No but got few replies saying cobra made them for victory and have a part number that I may take a chance on and order. May have to fabricate a bit but willing to try. Want to add rear luggage when traveling. Sucks that victory turning its backs on loyal customers!
